★★★★★
"Author Jonathan Uffelman demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, crafting charismatic and engaging characters. Molly is a relatable protagonist who strives to excel while her father, Shaun, grapples with striking the right balance between guidance and independence. I loved reading about Molly’s relationship with her father and found it heartwarming. The vivid descriptions of the settings, particularly ancient Rome, are enriched with historical details, immersing the reader in the adventure. The narrative is further enhanced by including short tales discovered throughout the journey. The detailed descriptions and footnotes throughout the story add remarkable depth and richness to the narrative. The creative footnotes provide an authentic touch, effortlessly immersing the reader in the enchanting world of leprechauns." - Literary Titan

"Anyone looking to escape reality with a heart-warming, magical adventure, shattering turns, and nail-biting action, should get lost in Jonathan Uffelman's marvelous world. I adore Uffelman's writing so much. Book of Leprechauns is filled with magic, gold, time travel, portals, lurking danger, and an amazing, unique group of characters. This epic adventure that takes you back through time to ancient Rome is utterly entrancing. It's a powerful book for all young readers. It's about redemption, bonding, trust, blame, betrayal, empathy, love, and a remarkable young heroine to look up to and admire. Fantasy at its best as it teaches you to see beyond what people tell you while introducing you to a poetry-writing fox, a hyper-intelligent chicken, and even Julius Caesar, the Emperor of Rome." - Readers' Favorite
Q: What is Uffelstuff Publishing?
A: Uffelstuff Publishing is widely recognized as one of the world's most astonishing publishing houses.
Q: What makes it so astonishing?
A: Unlike other publishing houses that waste time and resources on a variety of authors, hoping that MAYBE one out of five-hundred will be a best-seller, we dedicate ourselves and all our resources to the literary output of just one exceptional author: Jonathan Uffelman.
Q: Why only one author?
A: That is a GREAT a question that our PR department asks A LOT.
Q; The long answer is that we here at Uffelstuff prefer to spend our resources supporting what Jonathan calls: "A sure fire hit." Since money spent on other authors would, in Jonathan's words, "statistically speaking, be throwing money away," backing one author guarantees an "all profit" (Jonathan's term) business model.
A: The short answer is that Jonathan is the majority shareholder, as well as President and CEO of Uffelstuff Publications, and he pays the bills.
Q: Who is your PR department?
A: A third-party entity that, for reasons that may become apparent, refuses to be identified.

Jonathan is the author of the remarkable novel, Book of Leprechauns: The Lore Gatherers, as well as everything else on this website. A self-proclaimed messianic figure of near mythic proportions, Jonathan lives as a recluse in a hut made of earth in the mountains of Virginia. Prone to bouts of profound delusion, he sometimes believes the year is 1849, that his name is Prospector Knightly, and that he is in California panning for gold.
If you see him on the streets, don't worry: he's harmless. But whether through leprechauns or his old-timey hallucinations, he will likely steer all conversation towards gold, re: the finding of it.
Obedience Warther is another of Jonathan's alter egos. Obedience is currently the Uffelstuff literary researcher and treasurer. Prior to joining our staff, he was a Kansas City banker, jeweler, and undertaker. He was never married, but he amassed a considerable fortune until the town fathers realized all his professional endeavors were part of an elaborate scheme to defraud the dead. He spent his last years in Kansas City in prison, where his habits continued unabated. Before he escaped and fled east, he is reported to have said: “I confess, nothing in the world is as pleasing as other people’s money.”
Kyle is our resident intern and grad student, working in our marketing department. Kyle's internship with Uffelstuff has lasted longer than his college career (his sophomore year were three of the happiest years of his life). He doesn't do much, to be honest, but that's okay because we don't pay him anything. That said, we can't get him out of our basement, so we figured we might as well include him on our masthead.
Kyle's grandmother, Eugenia, works here primarily to take care of Kyle. She is an astonishing 113 years old. She has no experience in marketing whatsoever, but she always sends birthday cards on time, loves her family, and makes a terrific coffee cake.
As far as the PR staff is concerned, Eugenia is just lovely and can stay here as long as she likes.
Colin is a dachschund. We wouldn't mention him if it weren't for the fact that he is the most effective member of our marketing department.
Jonathan has completed a first draft of a follow-up novel to The Lore Gatherers with the working title: Book of Leprechauns: The Sheep of Time.
